Universities in Dingle
The Corca Dhuibhne Peninsula has provided inspiration for many writers and scholars of international acclaim. Academics and lecturers from Corca Dhuibhne are of international repute and leaders in their fields. They have and continue to provide lectures and results of their research to students on study abroad programmes.
Sacred Heart University/ Sacred Heart Campus in Dingle (SHCiD) has been collaborating with Díseart Center of Irish Spirituality and Culture since 2003. They share a common educational mission. SHU have taken the step to develop an independent campus in Dingle, while retaining their strong bond with An Diseart.
Presently, Sacred Heart Students take courses in An Díseart and the Sacred Heart University/ Sacred Heart Campus in Dingle also has its office in the building .
Other Universities have held classes and work with An Díseart include University of Missouri – Kansas City and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia,
